How is breast lift surgery performed?
Breast lift surgery is performed with two different methods. In the small breast, a silicone prosthesis is placed under the skin, and in the large breast, the excess breast tissue is removed to give the breasts an upright appearance. Then the excess skin in the area is removed, and the operation is completed.
At the end of the surgery, you will have erect and shaped breasts of the size you want. Those planning a pregnancy should postpone this surgery until after pregnancy. Those who are breastfeeding should wait until the end of the breastfeeding period. In this way, the breast tissue becomes normal and suitable for surgery.
In first-degree breast sagging, a half-moon-shaped piece of skin is removed from the areola, and the nipple is taken a little higher.
We remove a large piece of skin from around the nipple ring in cases of second-degree breast sagging. The surgeon shrinks the resulting ring and sews it to the nipple. Only a scar around the nipple ring remains. The area around the nipple appears as a shrunken bag mouth for a few months. If you prefer a different appearance, you can apply the vertical method. This method involves sliding the formed ring under the breast ring and stitching it in place. In this procedure, a downward trace remains.
We apply the inverted T technique to third-degree breast sagging. In addition to the scar in the vertical method, another horizontal scar remains under the breast. The superiority of the technique is that it gives the breast a conical and round shape.
In false breast sagging (pseudoptosis), in this case, there is no sagging of the breast. Only the submammary pole has sagged. To rectify this, either insert a silicone prosthesis into the breast or use the vertical method to shift the nipple ring to the upper point. People prefer silicone prosthesis because it leaves fewer scars.
Breast Lift Before and After
Mastopexy - breast lift without implants, is a cosmetic surgery procedure that lifts and reshapes the breasts without adding any volume. This surgery is ideal for women who are pleased with the size of their breasts but are looking for a firmer and more youthful appearance.
